BUILDING INAUGURATION

The church in Villa Dolores, Cordoba, which was purchased in October of last year was FINALLY able to inaugurate and hold services! The delay was a true testament to government bureaucracy. Many permits were required and hoops were made to jump through. So, even though this was discouraging to the small church congregation, they persevered in fixing up the property and fulfilling all the requirements. Because of Ben’s help in purchasing the property through the help of the Trailhead Foundation, Pastor Juan asked Ben to come and preach. It was a privilege to participate in this young church’s special day.

EASTER RETREAT

Our church along with our “mother” church had our annual Easter Retreat this April. It is always a wonderful time of fellowship, rest, and Biblical teaching. Fewer from both churches were able to attend compared to former years because of financial difficulties, but we are thankful for those who were able to go and grow in their relationships with each other and with the Lord, remembering His sacrifice for us on the cross, and His resurrection from the grave, conquering sin and death. We hope that next year more will be able to attend!

YOUTH MINISTRY

Last year some men of our church felt the burden for lost and needy souls in their neighborhood. As a result, they started a weekly snack and Bible study time. Although it was meant for all ages, it quickly settled into a continuous flow of youth. As of now there are around 15 adolescents who consistently come to eat and study the Bible! We are trying to incorporate these teens into our church family, and we crave your prayers for this endeavor! Pictured above are most of our regular church youth along with those from the Bible study ministry and all the leaders.
