In the beginning of November, we had the opportunity to fly to California for the Missionary Communication Workshop. It was a blessing to grow alongside other missionaries as we developed skills to effectively communicate our call, burden, and the ministry God has laid on our hearts. This will also be a tremendous help on the field as we communicate the Gospel and equip Argentines to repeat the process in reaching and teaching their own people.
As deputation missionaries we thank God for the busy schedule around the various holiday-related church activities. Our travels have taken us on a quick trip to California, a weekend in Texas, Thanksgiving in Missouri, a weekend in Arkansas, two weekends in Ohio, then down to Georgia for Christmas. Several of the weekend trips involved driving in quite a bit of snow, but the Lord took us to our destinations without any trouble at all. We covet your continued prayers for our safety, as we still have several thousand miles of deputation left until our departure.
Not only is it a blessing to be in the Lord’s work, but also to know that He is already preparing the way ahead of us. The first year in Argentina we will be working with Rachelle’s parents, Barry and Diane Courts, who are 26-year veteran missionaries. We are excited to get started helping in any way we can in their church and Bible college. We are even more excited to hear about how they are currently reaching people with the life-changing Gospel of Christ. In the past couple of months several individuals have been saved and are being discipled. Would you pray for God’s continuing work through the Courts’ ministry in Argentina?
